Current vacancies at Argyl Partners

Argyl Partners works with a small group of advisors who bring real investing experience to the important decisions — where capital is committed, on what terms, and what happens after the wire clears.

Current Vacancies

Strategic Investment Advisor

The role suits an investor who has underwritten growth-stage companies and also knows how a listed portfolio behaves across a full cycle. Thesis development anchors the work. From there the advisor runs diligence on private market opportunities, covering venture capital and private equity, with growth equity absorbing the largest share of attention, and forms a continuing view on how capital should sit between public and private holdings.

Advisors also work directly with selected portfolio companies. That can mean opening a market abroad, pressure-testing a commercial plan with the founding team or bringing in a partner who moves revenue. Expect real time with founders and operators, not only with models and committee papers.

How Engagement Works in Practice

Advisors are based in or regularly travel to Prague, and most engagements combine scheduled review cycles with ad hoc involvement when a transaction moves quickly. Commitment levels, term and compensation are set per mandate and discussed openly at the first meeting; specifics for the current search are available on request at email. Candor is expected in both directions. Disagreement recorded early in a diligence process is worth considerably more to Argyl Partners than agreement reached late.

Making contact

Applications stay simple. Send a short note to [email protected] describing the deals personally led, the sectors and geographies known best, and the kind of mandate of interest. A full resume helps, though a clear account of investment judgment helps more. Conversations usually begin with an informal discussion of current portfolio thinking before anything formal is proposed. Those wanting broader context on Argyl Partners first will find it on the main site.
